ANCIENT MARINER PART THE THIRD

At the beginning of part the third they were thirsty and hungry

Secondly the ancient mariner looks westward and thinks he sees something in the sky

Thirdly he thinks he sees a ship but on board that ship is a woman next to her stands her mate – death

Fourthly the ancient mariner  hears the woman say  “I’v’e won I’v’e won!”

Fifthly they all curse him with their eye and drop to the ground one by one DEAD

With blacked lips backed means the sun has dried up their lips and now they are cooked

ANCIENT MARINER YO!

1)At the beginning the ancient mariner walks up to a wedding guest telling a story about himself stuck in the middle of the ocean.

2)They were having a jolly time when sooner on it takes a turn.

3)Stuck in the ice but. A little friend coming by bringing the mist and the cloud and always coming by to have all of their resources.

4) It was an ALBATROSS! Always making or days grey just like the devil who wanted us to pay.

5)With one mighty shot the albatross went down in a flame (Not really i just like rhymes) in all of it’s glorious fame my crossbow empty like a lifeless empty crate.

6) As the mist faded away with the devil by it’s way everything went back to normal.

7)Are throats coughing up dry spit just like a lama with very dry spit.

8)Is this it is this it being teased by the water with the albatross looking up at us on the rusty old ship that’s just a drip of a lifetime.

THE ANCIENT MARINER PART THE SECOND

“All in a hot and copper sky,

The bloody sun, at noon,”

This metaphor means orange sky and a boiling hot sun. A copper sky means it hurts to look at it just like bright reflective metal.

The bloody sun means it’s like a leaking tomato and all of the juice is coming out of it.

HOGARTH!!!

Wide Reading Project

753f9f17cf6ccc4a907e32e089064b73

During the year you will be asked to read a wide range of texts. Using texts studied in class as well as texts you have selected you will also complete a log of the reading process. Overall you will read eight texts including at least six written texts and two visual texts. You will complete log entries on each text and present a report on your findings.

Attached is the outline of your required personal reading project – inside is the guidance you need to make sure your own-choice reading is going to meet the wide reading criteria.

You can always ask your teacher for advice about which texts would be best to concentrate on – and once you’ve read each text, you’ll then be asked to write a journal entry on your blog explaining how it helped develop your understanding of The Individual and Society.

This year everyone in the school will be required to have a ‘book at hand’ – and for English students, it makes a good idea to make that book one that helps you towards this reading project.
